True Self Wellness

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO live life artfully?

And the day came when it became more painful to remain tightly closed in a bud than the risk it took to bloom.                          ~Anais Nin

Living life well is an art.  True Self Wellness invites each of us to ask what life is trying to teach us and to stay connected, or to reconnect, with the color and sweetness of a non-dualistic life.  How might we view our daily experience more expansively?  How can we create beauty even when life is challenging? Through Spiritual Life Coaching and Yoga & Meditation Mentoring, we can uncover core truths of who we are and so live intentionally rather than reactionally.

As we expand the lens through which we view ourselves, it becomes possible to see others more clearly.  We learn to make choices more carefully.  True self-mastery is achieved through expanding consciousness and acting with clarity.  Peace for the world begins with peace inside yourself.  This understanding turns the key that will open the door to your True Self and your magnificent, inspired life.

 A Brief Personal History

Twenty years ago, I was told I may never walk again after a near-fatal car accident.  At that time in my life, I was driven by confusions around my conditioning and who I believed I was supposed to be.  Breathless and motivated not only to walk but to heal, my quest to discover my True Self led to intensive study in yoga, meditation, ancient and modern religions, creative movement and dance, psychology and esoteric sciences.  In hearing my lengthy tale of chronic pain and struggle, some would say that life had been unkind.  Yet the development of witness consciousness has shown me that I can choose how I experience and interpret my life.  I can either be a victim of happenstance or a creator of poignant splendor.

Nameless and Luminous

Summers fade and moons wane.

Something here is still but not my will.

No, not that.

I stepped on a stone and how I moaned.

Woe is me, oh,

let me be

Spirits of doubt

who linger about

my head.

Who made my bed?  Do I have to lie there?

I am aware of this.  To kiss is bliss

To miss the moment is sin.

The din of my mind obsesses to find

Reason where there is none.

Mornings flutter like butterflies in the sighs of lingering, meandering,

multi-colored displays of nameless and luminous love.
