Both yoga and meditation enhances the connection you have with yourself. Kripalu Yoga honors the breath as an integral component and links movement and stillness through its capacity to direct life force. Kripalu, which means compassion, considers the person practicing in order to adapt the poses and movements accordingly. Kripalu Yoga is meditation in motion drawing attention to sensation while inviting grounded practice and liberated spirit.
Meditation
Meditation cultivates happiness, reduces stress, fosters clarity and a sense of well-being and bravery among life's uncertainty. While difficulty and pain are natural to life, suffering arises from resistence, avoidance and misunderstanding. In stillness and silence, we can become aware of patterns in our thinking that confuse and conceal the truth of who we are and of who we can become. Witnessing thoughts and patterns rather than reacting to them promotes a sense of inner ease and self-mastery.
